Kerry keeps saying that he would win the war on terror....
Yet he indicates that he would not go out and fight them.
What does he expect....to say 'pretty please'
and the terrorists would stop?
Bush just pointed out how Kerry called are allies "coerced and bribed".
That hurts Kerry. It shows that Kerry can't build an alliance. Because he is too busy insulting our allies.

Well we just lost the election.
The President looks like a wimp and responding very poorly. Kerry is confidant and hitting all his points. Kerry sounds convincing.
I think kerry will convince the fence sitters and add the fraud to the mix we will lose.
And I though GWB was going win by a landslide.
What the hell happened to the President.
I just hope that my expectations were so high that any performance by GWB would be poor and any performance by kerry would be good.
I am not very happy right now.

The DemoRats have out Freeped us on the post-debate polls... :( Maybe they did it while we were watching the tv.
Think Bush did fine and showed remarkable restraint in not walking over to bitch-slap Liveshot at several moments during the debate. After listening to that Gigolo speak during those 90 minutes I feel the need to go take a long shower to wash his filth off me. How many times did he wave his slick Willy right clenched fist with thumb on top at us? I lost count. Do have to give his makeup person kudos though for covering up his
Frankenface.
Thank God we had and
will have W in the Oval office. Can only imagine how Liveshot would have reacted to 9/11.

It is truly amazing to find such negative comments. What everyone is missing is what the President had to do and what Kerry had to do.
Because Kerry uses words like levers to take him where he wants to go and his actual words are not connected to anything he believes, the President's job was to keep his positions short, brief and crystal clear. This he did.
Kerry's job was to come up with "the plan." He didn't.
Everything else is noise. Sure, Kerry perhaps shined in the oral argument, but he has no facts to convince a jury.
The Freepers who are the biggest critics of the President's performance see a debate as sort of an athletic contest where there is a winner and a loser. So too, do many ordinary people. Do they vote on this. I think not.
"Keep it simple, stupid" is the President's strategy and it will work.
