Bingo. Watching the split-screen on CSPAN, it's clear that Bush is reacting to Kerry's words emotionally, and chugging down the glasses of water, while Kerry is cool and more statesman-like. I love Dubya, but that's how I see it on TV...
I couldn't stand anymore. Kerry is coming across as calm, cool, and collected. Bush is coming across as defensive, stuttering bigtime, and blowing arguements.
Kerry will get a bounce off of this.
I can't stand it.
Whoever prepared Bush needs to be shot. If he was just himself, he would have been fine.
I'm listening and reading FR.
Bush isn't good at putting his thoughts together and articulating them in 2 minutes or 90 seconds. He pauses and stutters while he his getting his thoughts together. Once he gets going, he does fine, but by then time is running out. Kerry throws out too points and uses too many terms that NOBODY understands. He'll impress the intellectuals but not average folks in middle
America.
