Did I miss it? Did Kerry answer the question about how he would get a win and get us out of Iraq?

Didn't think so.

Should have been called on it!

Time to bring back an old tagline of mine. Hey Ketchup, you recall saying that we should've outsourced the assassination of Saddam Hussein back in 1991?
Oh yeah, talk about the coalition of the bribed and coerced . Kerry on coalition building - "What else would it take for you to join us?"

My wife and I are listening on the radio (we don't have a TV).

It SOUNDS like Bush is kicking butt!!!! What's with all this gloom on this thread? Kerry sounds like a senator. Bush sounds like a President!

Kerry argues we shouldn't have invaded Iraq. We should have invaded N. Korea.

Sounds like the only person who knows what Collin Powell says to Bush is Kerry.

J F'n has no plan...

But he sure likes to talk about his plans.  Now he is talking about the "global test." Barf.

Remember at the begginning when Kerry said thank you blah blah and he started babbling and then said to Jim: Well we'll talk about that later on..(paraphrasing) How did he know what they were going to talk about?

Kerry has said that we "outsourced" Afghanistan twice now. He just keeps dissing our allies. He can't say we need a coalition, then demean out partners.

Well we just lost the election

Yeah right, every time Keryy says "I WOULD DO IT BETTER" he loses the heartland ...

Outsourced the job to Afghan warlords" W needs to bat this one out of the park.

I think that one will go by most people. However, it's a meme that Rove and gang let linger for years, so it has traction for some. Also, the "distraction" argument. It's silly, but Bush never explains things. Rove thought up the "call everything the war on terrorism" line.

Bush is phumphering and sticking too much to catch phrases and cliches. He is definitely not winning this debate.

i agree.

even his support is complaining about his performance, this is ridiculous.

Easy, amigo....if Bush is getting his ass kicked - because he for some reason is NOT rebutting Kerry's lies - he's getting his ass kicked. There's no denying it.

So far, Bush's performance deserves complaints....and if you think I'm a Kerry supporter, have a look at my posting history, Newbie!

Bush is not known as a great debater. Kerry is. Even with all that Bush is winning because he is articulating plain logic and common sense people can understand.

Bush doesn't have to come across as a great debater. If he just ties he wins. Kerry is the one with the hurdle. He has to have a knock out plus explain his crazy positions plainly. He is not doing it. Just more blowhard stuff.

He needs to point out that Kerry has been in the US Senate for 18 years, and if he has the power to influence other countries to help us, he should have done it already! What did he do in the Senate to help our cause?

One of Kerry's Must-Do's was to be friendly, like the kind of guy you would want to have a drink with. No one would want a drink with this guy. But that has been his only loose point. He's doing his same talking points over and over again. Vietnam, summits, coalitions, dissing the Prez.....Kerry's is getting old. W. needs to calm down, get focused, be sincere, and reassure confidence in staying the course.

However, first half is a Kerry win. Hope everyone hasn't left by now.
