I think Civilian Police Academy training is a good idea and parents who have a few hours a day should insist on volunteering to patrol the school grounds and buildings.

BINGO!!!! 24/7.....I want to see armed Dad's/uncles/grandpas patrolling those schools. I'm NOT kidding.

Same here...my kids are grown--one grandson---and I have the time. And don't overlook us Moms and gramma's!
