I executed an old cathode ray computer monitor...What did it do??
Humblegunner and I took a 14" color monitor up to the Deer Camp to execute and did so.
Since he and I are very prone to injury from the most sane action we decided to play it safe doing something like this. We set it out in a safe place backed off about 50 yards (yes yards) and I fired 8 rounds from my Glock 27 at it. I figure that I must have missed as I was shooting free hand and it did nothing.
We approached our prey and it had three holes in it. We thought it was going to be a nice little implosion, but nothing. The other seven that I had saved up went out for heavy trash pickup.
Sad. I have pinged the witness for an accuracy check!

It just sort of sighed and sat there. It was not near as gratifying as putting a load of buckshot throught a 21" set, which exploded in a shower of sparks or putting a .45 through the head of a Nicaraguan Sandanista colonel, which exploded in a shower of blood, brains, and bone fragments.
Er...not that I've ever done that.

I think I have a pic of that somewhere...
