From a USA Today report on the podium light kerfuffle:
"We'll do what we have to," Kerry strategist Tad Devine said after his meeting with the commission. But he also suggested the dispute will pass once Kerry's team makes its point. "We'll beat them over the head a little bit, then we'll see what happens."
Somethng tells me taht there's some very dirty tricks up the sleeves of the RATS tonite for this debate.
Anyone wanna take bets a couple of "audience members" suddenly break out in protest at some point when Pres. Bush starts to speak?

I think protests are a given.
Anyone watching this reporter from the LA Times on C-Span. I am certain he gets manicures. Regularly.

I wondered about what damage the screwdriver could do to the President's lectern - have it collapse to cause chaos? I put nothing past these arrested development Kerry supporters.

I too think that will happen. I hope the secret service is especially diligent tonight and really checks out the press passes. That's how some of them got into the Republican Convention.
