How else does the Government enforce their laws, if not with the barrell of a gun?

Then answer the following question: Does the government have the right to prohibit you from viewing kiddie porn with the barrel of a gun?

Do you have "God given" free will to view kiddie porn?

And I'm sure every 11 year old kid had easy access to such books and they were sold at the check-out counter at the local general stores.

So, considering that it's not too difficult, through fines and sting operations, to punish shopkeepers who knowingly sell tobacco to 11-year-olds, why do you consider the same basic circumstance in the realm of porn to demand draconian federal action?

The porn innundation we have now is practically unprecedented in history. It will utterly ennervate our society. Some of you people won't know what hit you until the *real* crackdown begins. And it won't be your fellow Americans doing the cracking. Take a lesson from Rome and Weimar Germany while we still can...

Of all the crimes I can think of, porn stands alone as totally victimless. As long as we're talking about adults, then WHY THE HELL IS IT ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS that someone produces, distributes or consumes pornography? It has precisely ZERO effect on you. You talk like just knowing that porn is out there somehow makes your life suck.

I just wish these libertines would quit trying to force their immorality on the rest of us...

Porn is good for you because it releases endorphins in the brain that stimulate good moods.

Civilization has progressed somewhat since the days of your beloved "noble savage" painting cave-man graffiti, in case you weren't aware.

You've got it backwards and you know it. It's easy - don't look at porn. There is nobody shoving porn in your face.

Huh? I think you meant to post to someone else.

If you want the government telling you what you can and cannot read based on majority vote, you might be unpleasantly surprised at what becomes forbidden and what becomes mandatory.

The moral majority isn't much of a majority anymore. I think we should all be fighting to retain and strengthen freedom of speech not weaken it, because, once freedom of speech is lost, the liberal voice will be the only one that is heard.

Hey, you know that's almost exactly what Jeffrey Dahmer said...

It should frighten you that liberals want to enforce their lack of morality on us at gunpoint.

"If you have any morals, I'll shoot you." ROTFLMAO!

"Very frightening that anyone supposedly "conservative" would support government mandated morality ..."

If not the conservative, then who? Liberals? Libertarians?

It speaks poorly for our society that morals have to be mandated at all. Our Constitution was written for a moral and religious people -- how does one apply our Constitution to an immoral and non-religious populace?

Certainly you don't think it should apply, do you?

DATELINE: WASHINGTON/20 OCTOBER 2017

"In a ruling that came as no particular surprise, the People's Supreme Court held in a 9-0 ruling that the Bible is pornographic, and ordered an immediate ban.

"Speaking from his cell at the Glorious People's Re-Education Camp of Marion, IL, James Smith, former head of an illegal terrorist religious cult known as the "Baptist Church," praised the ruling. 'President-for-life Hillary Clinton's wise leadership has led to a Supreme Court that upholds decency.' Smith required only three applications of negative-reinforcement electrical therapy to read his prepared remarks.

"President-for-Life Clinton has requested assistance from the People's Republic of China in enforcing the ban. 'We ask the assistance of the enlightened international community in preventing this book from warping the minds of our youth.' The Chinese government indicated that it was willing to send 500,000 troops to assist 'our American Comrades in their hour of need.'"

DATELINE: SALT LAKE CITY/20 DECEMBER 2017

"Salt Lake City, the last bastion of several groups of religiouslly-motivated terrorists, including the self-proclaimed 'Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints,' was destroyed by means of saturation nuclear bombardment. President-for-Life Hillary Clinton, speaking from the National Airborne Operations Center, said 'We said we'd burn their pornographic Bibles one way or another. And we will incinerate the entire country from one end to the other unless all terrorists lay down their arms. The People's Republic of the United States is willing to destroy the nation in order to save it.'

"Leaders of the terrorist cults based in Salt Lake City were unavailable for comment.

"Persons living downwind of Salt Lake City are advised to take precautions against nuclear fallout."

Yeah, I'm sure you just read them for the articles...

Pornography is not "speech." Obscenity is not protected by the First Amendment.

Kiddie porn is illegal because kids are under the age of consent, if they were 18 there would be no legal problem.
