According to what was just said on FOX someone in the Kerry Kamp claimed this was a debate not a gameshow and the lights look "goofy."
What a maroooooooon.

What am I missing? The Democratic candidate for President of the United States would be "distracted" by a podium light?
To: MikeA
Do these Dems. ALWAYS think they're above the rules and the law? Yes.

Carl Cameron said it was Meehan that made the "rip out the lights" threat. He also said it was the Kerry camp's contention that they just sent out a rabbit for the media to chase this afternoon. That they were trying to manage expectations.

Could there be a worse, more ridiculous prelude to tonight than this childish stunt? There must be deep, stomach churning fear in the Kerry camp. What else could explain their panic other than a foreboding terror of watching their candidate in full meltdown in front of 50 million viewers?

Chilling, isn't it?
Kind of like him saying he misspoke on the $87 million because he was tired -- at noon.
There is something wrong with this man.

Did anyone hear John Edwards whining this morning on Imus that the Bush Campaign "got everything they wanted" in the debate negotiations?
Kind of makes you wonder how this guy ever won a case.

My Kerry drinking word for tonight is "wrong". I have 1.75 liters of vodka.
I hope you don't have to work tomorrow, or Saturday, or Sunday, or Monday (you'll be hung over until then).

I love it! "Senator Kerry, after conquering the light situation in Miami, felt confident enough to take on even bigger tasks like deciding which spandex suit to wear when windsurfing."

Like a deer in the headlights...
Instead of a podium light, they should let him use a mirror instead. The glow from his chemically enhanced orange peel tan from his narsicistic self would light up the room.

The Democratic candidate for President of the United States would be "distracted" by a podium light? The Democrat candidate for President is trying to distract the United States people from him with a light bulb.
