The dumbest part about this, as Izzy Dunne points out, is that they agreed to this, and now they don't agree to it.

Heh, I think you've got an excellent idea there!

Let Kerry's people take the lights off Kerry's lectern, and leave them on Bush's.

The message the public will get: Kerry is a typical elitist. Thinks he's so special, the rules shouldn't apply to him.
