A high school student convicted of lying to police when she claimed she was sexually assaulted by her special-education teacher has been sentenced to 30 days at Ingham County Youth Center.

Only 30 days? She effectively wrecked this guy's life out of sheer spite. And to top it off, the guy DIED from complications of a heart attack. I would not be the least bit surprised to learn that this dumb broad's charges contributed to his death.

She assasinated him - She should be doing twenty years! And the School District should pay his widow his salary for the rest of her natural life.

No states have put in place any serious laws addressing this "false accusation" behaviour as criminal. At most they charge false accusers with a misdemeanor. Misdemeanor - hell - this was outright murder. Those involved are complicit as well and should pay for their crimes with the loss of their jobs. They violated the public trust.
