they are not cheap. he was $1500 and i think that was on the low side from the research i did. they are prone to heart problems, so it is impt to check into the heart history of the particular line/breeder etc. Our's is remarkably healthy and will hopefully stay that way.

Lucius is a love, cuddly and playful, but he is finicky as all get out, doesn't like to get his feet wet in grass and won't hardly go outside to potty if it is raining. i talked to someone recently that has a neighbor with one and their's has those same pansy-type traits. No way around it, my baby is a girlie-dog, but i love him anyway. : )

My father's cat won't go outside if it's wet out.

(He and the dog got along surprisingly well, even played and roughhoused some.)
