Sumner Redstone, chairman of the entertainment giant Viacom, claims he has been a "liberal Democrat," all of his life. He said he is now supporting President Bush and will vote for him. Viacom is the parent company of CBS.
Hot patootie Dan, the way folks at CBS feel right now, you'd have to tie a pork chop around your neck just to get a dog to play with you. Well, you'll always have your producer, Mary Mapes. Dadnabit Dan, I almost forgot Joe Lockhart. You'll have a lot of playmates.

There is also a good item about Eddie Adams in the column.
Ping.
Joe Sixpack doesn't know Redstone, but he may have a vague idea about Dan Rather....who the old phart Redstone claims to support is a big fat ole "N/A".
I'll bet.
I don't believe this anymore than those fake documents they were peddling to "destroy" President Bush.
Yeah sure. Uh huh. We believe it. *yawn*
Uh ... YUCK!
This move is bullcrap. He's just trying to offset accusations of liberal infestation and bias within CBS.
Do you know what a convincing move is?
FIRE DAN RATHER YESTERDAY.
All other moves are to be interprated as Barbara Strisand.
Yeah, and after that, he'll put on his "wife-beater" T-shirt, shoot down a six-pack, then treat his wife "like a lady."

REDstone's a fool if he thinks anyone believes this far out PR garbage.
Anyone that donates to Kerry and Kennedy will NOT be voting for Bush.
What I heard him say is that Bush will be better for Viacom. That doesn't translate into 'voting for Bush'.
Pure BS... simple "CYA" move now that CBS is in the spotlight for the fake memos.
CYA.... hmmmm... maybe REDSTONE wrote them LOL
DANG! I didn't know Moore was that short....
How about this........
What the man really indented to do in his statement was to re-inforce the FDR slogan from way back when. The demos are for the little guy ........whereas the Republicans are for big business. They don't care for anyone making lets asy in todays dollars less then 200,000/yr.
He could give a rats' a__ less what people think of him, and he undertands the Blather goof ups will blow away in a few weeks at most. The American public have an extremly short memory span. That is, for those that even have a memory. Na, his statement had nothing to do with supporting Bush nor protecting C-BS. C-BS is gone nowhere.
I don't buy that horsesh**. In light of the Rathergate fiasco, there have been stories like this as some means to pour manure over the Rathergate facade and hope something beautiful will grow.
I didn't realize Kerry and Edwards were morbidly obese!!
Tell your ping list that Dubya is Dubja. The Poles are angry at Lurch.
