"On behalf of Senator Kerry, I apologize to all the Vietnam vets the Senator has accused of war crimes (hope you don't mind)...by the way, which war crimes did you say you committed, Senator?"

I heard that the senator was disappointed that he couldn't bring a gun to the debate to shoot me. Even if had brought one I wouldn't be worried. Seems like he's only capable of shooting off his mouth or shooting himself in the foot.

I'd like to hear no "zingers" at all -- they're stupid political tricks that detract from what little good the debates do.
I think the biggest "zinger" of all would be for George W. Bush to tell the truth about John Kerry's wild-eyed claims. "Senator, that's not true, and you know it's not true."

Bush: I have always said that my opponent's service in Vietnam was honorable. Unfortunately, he seems to be unable to agree on that point, even with himself.

Senator, tell us more about the atocities you said you commited during your four months service in Vietnam.
To: SlowBoat407
I think Bush already had the best dig when he said during a stump speech that "The Senator has so many different positions he could argue with himself for 90 minutes."

What would you like to see or hear? I'd like to hear a single unscripted question, followed by an unrehearsed answer that actually answers the question asked.
And since there will not be a single one of those, I will not be watching.
These "debates" are nothing of the sort. They are yet another part of the infomercials that call themselves a presidential campaign.
