Right so just to get this straight, if my kids don't want to serve in Kerrys DRAFT then I have to pay for their education plus everyone elses education!!! I don't think this won't be Constitutionally legal But, What say you !!

My first reply about skerry being against a draft before being for a draft was sarcasm, due to his flip-flops. Most parents or families pay for the education for children. There are no free rides, especially at major universities.

I do know two kids who did get 100% tuition paid, but they worked their rear ends off to get that. They were #1 & #2 in their class at high school.

No, not quite. Kerry's original proposal, back during the primaries (Edwards' proposal as well) was that your kids have no choice in the matter, if they want their high school diploma.

Also, if for some reason you behaved like the insane ant in the colony and sought to pay for your child's education, you might be considered unpatriotic or abnormal or subversive. For sure you would think you had some say in what college the kids attend, if you were freely paying for it. Which is a mark of privilege and offensively classist...

Ok, it won't go that sour overnight, but sooner or later it'll get there.
