President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush welcomed Dr. Phil and Robin to their ranch in Crawford, Texas to talk about family and raising kids.

"I am really committed to putting family back in America," Dr. Phil tells them. "I think it's what you have put in the White House, and I think it's what we need to put back in America."

The President agrees. "If you have a child, that child has got to be the number one priority in your life," he says. "If you are fortunate enough to be a mother or a father, you're responsible for loving that child with all your heart

Their Greatest Pride
The president and first lady talk about raising their daughters and their special memories of the girls' childhood. Also, Robin reveals a special connection she shares with the Bush twins.

The Real George W. Bush
President Bush reveals insights into who he is as a person and what life is like at the ranch, away from the White House. He also gives advice to parents raising kids in a world filled with sex, drugs and rock and roll.

Saw a promo for this show airing today. In Atlanta it is on WXIA channel 11 at 5:00pm

I've never seen a Dr. Phil show and don't know much about him but it an opportunity to see the President and First Lady.

Dr.Phil is voting for Bush. He said in an interview that he is voting for the man who brings back family values to America and that Pres. W does that.

Dr. Phil is the only fat guy I've ever seen hawking a diet book.

I have no idea what that loud mouth clown is even famous.

I am in LA and actually went to the Dr. Phil show yesterday--a good friend got tickets and I never do that "studio audience" stuff since I live here and take it for granted. It was actually fun, and I could tell that Phil was a decent guy. He totally spoke to his guests in between takes and seemed sincerely interested in helping them. I'm pretty cynical about Hollywood types but I would put Dr. Phil into the OK column.

It's a shame that politicans running for office have to appear on shows such as these.

Dr. Phil was based here in the Dallas area, Irving to be specific. He's a good guy - good-sized ego, but a good guy.

This information comes from people I know in the Wichita Falls medical professions.

Dr Phil was run out of Wichita Falls, Texas, where he was a psychologist. Apparently he did a lot of unethical things there. Among those was having children urinate on pictures of their parents during therapy sessions.

Maybe that's how I can potty train my toddler. Of course I'd rather have him urinate on a picture of Barney or Elmo.

Dr, Phil was a crook who set up PHONEY health spas in toher states, collecting the membership fees then he would take the money, fold the spas, and run back to texas where he could not be prosecuted. The man is a CROOK.

The sources are known to me, and some have first-hand knowledge. I choose to believe them. You don't have to.

WF is a fairly small town, not much transition in or out as far as the population goes. Everybody there seems to know just about everybody else. It isn't a rich town but there are some very wealthy families there...old line cattle and oil interests. I think the parties involved never reported any of this to authorities because of the embarrassment it would cause them and their families. Taking him to court civilly would be a losing proposition because it would publicize the situation and there was no way to get money from him anyway. The story I get is that the threat of prosecution was enough to get rid of the "problem."
