It's all Bush's fault. In addition to this and the hurricanes, California is experiencing earthquakes.

If we have a major earthquake in California, that might make St. Helen's erupt. That on top of the hurricane's would probably over strech FEMA, and Bush will get the blame. Let's hope if it does happen that there isn't enough time for people to become aware that FEMA can no longer keep up.

FEMA overstretched

I saw a clip of one of the post hurricane Florida bottled water hand outs. Not knowing the particular individuals circumstances and not trying to be judgmental (got to cover the bases here), I wondered why the lady in the late model SUV (I have one) had not bothered to stock up on bottled water before hand.

Doubtfull, St. Helen's is in southern Washington state, accross the river from Portland, OR. (not right accross, but on clear day you can see the moutain from there) Most of the Califoria quake areas are in little farther north than San Fransciso, the majority are further south than that.
