America WILL be eclipsed by China. Not a big deal, though, since lesser nations do pretty well in todays world.

Perhaps that won't seem like such a sanguine outcome when the US breaks apart into several regions, and the Chinese Communists start building military bases in California or Oregon. Just how long do you think a second-rate, second-world US can hold out against invasion?

Nations come. Nations go. The human race goes on.

I guess, with the liberties we've lost so far and the ones we are losing at an ever-increasing rate, I'm just not too concerned if America falls. If it does, someday a nation will arise in which liberty is once again cherished. Russia (before Putin) seemed to be traveling a road to greater liberties, but this seems to be squashed for now.
