I didn't see the show, I only read the transcript. Perhaps on TV Kerry sounded thoughtful and nuanced. Reading the transcript, he comes across as a complete imbecile.

I didn't see it either but heard some audio clips on Rush. He sounded awful. First, fumbling as he tried to offer spin. Then a little angry when Sawyer pressed him.
