I wouldn't put it past Kerry to do something completely aginst the debate rules ... like ask Bush a direct question. Apparently that was his winning strategy with Weld. I hope GW is prepared for the possibility.

What are they going to do if he breaks the rules? Arrest him? He's deparate!

It's possible. Bush should simply say:

"Thanks but no thanks, John. When you can come up with ONE position on a subject, I'll think about it. Until then, I'm not getting into an argument with someone who has six positions on each issue. How could I even keep track of what to debate against? No, let's just do the debate like we all agreed upon, Johnny."
