Your so right Bunny!! WHAT has Geragos won that you can think of?? I can't come up with any cases he's downright won.
That would be really effective as a visual in the closing Arguments pinz. Done as a power point demonstration. Just wait until they lay out ALL the stuff he had with him the day he was arrested. Also, TODAY, the Prosecution called a guy from the San Diego Sherrifs Dept. that had been tailing Scott. He testified that on April 16th, two days before his arrest, Peterson pulled up beside HIM, and said "What department are you with, State or local"? So he just revealed right there that he was NOT being hounded by the media. No media were following Peterson at that point AT ALL.
THAT would be very effective Annie. Hundreds of well meaning citizens during the Christmas holidays, giving up time with their families, out searching ravines, waterways, parks, woods, the whole bit and then Peterson, telling Amber about the Eiffel Tower and the Fireworks in the background and his friends, Pasquale and Francois!! Just typing it gives me a Good God!!
Wasn't that just the oddest statement??? It's right up there with Violence towards women is unapproachable. I get the impression that Scott has Delusions of Grandeur but in reality, he doesn't even know proper English. He is attempting to sound more intelligent than he obviously is.
LOL!! great picture, a whole gaggle of Geragos's!!
Last week Mickey Sherman thought that Snott's hand wounds were consistent with someone (Laci) who was trying to remove them from around her neck.....I think that is what he had on his mind when he made those statements rather than trying to sound intelligent. The only men I see cutting themselves are boxers, and THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME !
hmmmm, Mickey Sherman actually saw something of a positive nature regarding the prosecution??
The prosecution battled back at the Scott Peterson trial Wednesday, trying to deflate some of the defense's strongest claims.
While defense attorney Mark Geragos spent the past couple of days methodically plodding through his case, prosecutor Birgit Fladegar jumped at the chance to pick up the pace of the trial, swatting away some of his alternate theories that could prove Scott Peterson innocent.
Geragos has tried to explain Scott's evasive driving in San Diego before he was arrested as a way to elude the media instead of authorities. Wednesday, the jury learned Scott went up to a San Diego sheriff's deputy and asked him, "what agency are you with -- state or local?"
"This is damaging because it appears the jury has been misled by the defense," said legal analyst Dean Johnson. "Their stories don't hold."
Tuesday, Geragos pointed out Scott could have bought an unregistered boat instead of the one he did purchase, which was registered with the state. Geragos asked rhetorically if a man dumping his murdered wife in the bay wouldn't rather use an unregistered boat instead. But Wednesday, Fladegar pointed out that police would pull over anyone towing an unregistered boat down the highway, which is not something you'd want to happen if you were dumping your wife in the bay.
Finally, Fladegar summarized the entire prosecution case in a hard-hitting series of questions to an investigator, saying that Scott Peterson told him he went fishing on Christmas Eve, by himself, in a boat he'd never before put in the water, 90 miles from home, on a day when it was too cold to play golf.
"That's the whole prosecution case in a nutshell," said Johnson. "Very effective."
Fladegar also had an investigator read an email that Scott had sent to Laci's mom. In it, Scott apologizes for not admitting his affair with Amber Frey, and says that the Petersons and the Rochas need to work together to bring Laci home. Peterson says home is where Laci needs to be, and once she gets there, all will be well. Fladegar then asked the witness when Scott made plans to sell his house, and the answer was two to three weeks after Laci disappeared.
SP said he wanted LP to have a three dem. sonogram to prove there were not birth defects because abortion could still be an option.
Scott never checked the home answering machine before taking a shower, eating pizza, washing his clothes, etc?
now we are hearing that after he checked the messages, he purposely saved the one from him made earlier in the day where he calls her "beautiful" and that he is running late, or something like that.
How convenient is that?
CourtTV message board is saying that it was announced on Greta that the verdict will be TELEVISED!!!
just goes to show the progress that has been made. Another interesting point brought out on CTV was the fact that Scott never erased his own message to Laci when he got home, that is after eating pizza, washing his clothes and taking a shower. The main point being he never even contemplated the idea Laci could have left him b/c of his admitted relationship with Amber. If any part of his story were true, it could have been entirely logical she would have left his sorry @ss.
One of Scotts oft repeated phrases is "Laci needs to be home with our family". This one bothers me because he never says "i need her home" or "i want her back". I don't know it's just very odd to say "with our family" instead of "with me". It's like he is distancing himself from her.
And also he usually says "when she disappeared" or "her disappearance". Very rarely does he say her name.
I heard on Catherine Crier that in an email to the Rochas, he apologized for Amber and said the same thing, "Laci needs to be home, we need to bring Laci home."
It was AFTER he tried to sell the house.
He also tries to sound more moral than he is. Always saying "that would be inappropriate". Oh! he is such a lying murdering sack of ...fertilizer ingredients.
Fladager allowed each panelist to hold the maternity blouse that prosecutors claim Laci Peterson was wearing just before her murder; juror No. 9 broke into sobs. The female panelist fingered the cream and black peasant shirt, which was found in the couple's hamper, for a moment, passed it to the juror to her left and began to cry.

They need to pass around some of Connor's new baby clothes too.
Excellent suggestion!! I just got chills.
