I think it was worse. At least John was fighting, picking his side and standing with them.

The NY Times is certainly in the midst of committing suicide. First, it gets caught with a reporter, Jayson Blair, fabricating stories. Now it has a foreign correspondent actually engaging in felonious, traitorous acts agains the US.

The NYT may be headquartered in NY but is by no means a defacto supporter of the US, it's policies or it's President, unless of course that President is a democrat.
