That was pretty much Mr. Peach's assessment too when I told him about your report from FNC. He certainly hopes Peter Goss can clean that nest of vipers right out of there.

You are absolutely correct, they've been getting away with this garbage for years and only since the rise of the Internet have we been able to call them on it. Don't take any lead in the polls for granted...get out and vote for Bush!!!

The First Amendment does NOT protect traitors. If this reporter did tip off the terrorists, the reporter needs to do time. Serious time.

The suit seeks to block subpoenas from the Justice Department for phone records of two of its Middle Eastern reporters — Philip Shenon and Judith Miller — as part of a probe to track down the leak.

A reputable paper would cooperate with the authorities fully and would want to see justice served. But no, the Times is doing everything they can to slow-roll the investigation and get its people off on technicalities. The NY Times has a big guilty sign around its neck, just like the reporters do.

In light of their efforts to cloud the issue and subvert the United States, I say we Freep these sons-of-bitches like they can't believe.

In a dark time in my life, I joined the ACLU (There's a very interesting story about how going to U.C. Berkeley turned me into a conservative) and they keep sending me mail. I let 'em keep doing that and putting it in the circular file but mailing something back and costing them more money sounds like an even better strategy.

>>Given the timing of the latest leaks so close to an election, they are now clearly trying to defeat President Bush and elect John Kerry.<<

I was watching the news the other morning and Minetta was criticising the President. Why would a President keep someone in his Cabinet who works for the Democrats?

President Bush made such an effort to change the dynamics in Washington that he has jeopardized the success of his administration. In my opinion, the biggest mistake that Bush has made was underestimating the power of the liberal hate and the fact that they will stop at nothing to get back that power. The court cases involving the CIA leaks to the NYT reporters are largely indicative of just how deeply the left has penetrated all the branches of gov't.

I don't know why Bush seems to view the Dems through rose colored glasses, but he seems to give them the benefit of the doubt until they personally betray him. It kind of reminds me of the way the Democrats underestimated the evil of communism, the typical leftist view of the inherent goodness of humanity.
