"Michael Moore Hates America" Premieres in Hollywood, Thursday, September 30, 2004

Hollywood, Calif., September 22, 2004/PRNewswire/ The hotly anticipated documentary, “Michael Moore Hates America” will make its' Hollywood premiere on Thursday, September 30 at 8p.m. at the Writer's Guild of America theatre, with its red carpet rolled out to Hollywood's elite celebrities in support of uncensored media and freedom of speech in America.

”Michael Moore Hates America” deconstructs the genre of documentary film to show viewers how filmmakers can manipulate interviews and statistics to communicate a desired message, and therefore, how deceptive that message often is. Movie-goers will discover what that means in their daily lives and begin to understand why it's so important to question everything they see and hear. Most importantly, viewers will see the American Dream emerge in front of them.

The film will premiere in conjunction with a fundraiser to benefit Hollywood Congressional Candidate and Studio Executive, Victor Elizalde. "We're excited that Victor wants to be a part of this big American Conversation," said Director Mike Wilson, "An honest, open dialogue is what this country needs right now, and in that spirit we've also invited Congressman Henry Waxman to attend this event."

Elizalde is supportive of the documentary, and says "the movie will do to Michael Moore and Fahrenheit 9/11, what the bloggers have done to CBS and Dan Rather and America deserves to hear the truth." Immediately following the screening will be an exclusive reception with the film's Director, Michael Wilson, his production team, and Congressional Candidate Victor Elizalde.
