Colin Quinn actually said "The Left is suppressing our use of language and free speech!"

I don't know if anybody else watches Tough Crowd but it's a actually pretty balanced. The host Colin Quinn has said numerous times that he's gonna vote for Bush and won't let liberals get away with crap on his show. Sure it's kinda crude sometimes but it's surprising to see somebody on TV who has the same opinions I do (bet he doesn't last too much longer)

Colin Quinn. I used to watch him on Remote Control on MTV with Jenny McCarthy.

Colin Quinn is my kind of guy. One who is a conservative and enjoys a good beer...or least several mediocre beers.

"Tough Crowd" is what Bill Mahr claims "Politically Incorrect" is. It's a really great show. You ought to see how he can cut it up when he has some "brothas" on.

Tough Crowd is easier to watch than "the Daily Show."
Colin Quinn and his rotating band of comedians are genuinely funny and cover topics with a blatant disregard for political correctness.
I enjoy the show and while I didn't see him state his political leanings, I have always suspected.

Rush brought up something today about liberals that got me to thinking. He said we can't expect them to come around because liberaliasm is a religious faith to them. One of their doctrines is that all weapons are bad. Hence it's easy to kick out of school an excellent student, a role model citizen because he has a hatchet in the trunk of his car in the school parking lot. Never mind that it is a Boy Scout hatchet, and it was in his trunk from a scout meeting the night before. Zero Tolerance, this from the great crusaders of tolerance. Many religions have a zero tolerance philosophy, and liberalism is just another one.
I propose a new phrase to enter the Freeper Lexicon: Fundamentalist Liberal
When reason is the enemy, the fundamentalist liberal will go on faith, and demand that you do too.

true, good point. I was just surprised that somebody on TV said the Left was trying to stifle free speech. And if you watch the show you'll know he's not the brightest guy in the world but he's right on some issues.

I always try to catch Tough Crowd. One of the better shows on TV.

Superb word creation. I think we have the next "Buckhead" moment! We'll have to start working this into every day conversation, or better yet looking for it on the news. They are probably trolling this site to look for some tips on news reporting. God knows after Rathergate they can use it, especially at the Jason Blair Times (NYT)....

I think he had three strikes against him just for being a Boy Scout - the times we live in.
