You breath 71% nitrogen with every breath. The liquid form looks like boiling water in a cup. Very cold. -273C in the center.

Yeah, I know the N2 is harmless at room temp, but liquid can burn you pretty badly in the right quantities.

Fascinating to drop stuff in it and see the result. You know, balloons, cola, assorted fruit, mewing kittens, etc.

You just instantaneously reach in and pull them out with your fingers. Less than a second. The vapor of the evaporating liquid protects your warm fingers on the surface. LN2 is a boiling liquid at atmospheric pressure at sea level. I never got burned with cold, unless it was by throwing snowballs, and those were held far longer to pack them together.
