Maybe some day, but I've never even been to a chiropractor. I used to poo-poo them outright, but as I get older and wake up with various aches & pains, I'm SERIOUSLY considering trying a chiropractor out.....any FReeper advice on that? I probably ought to post that as a vanity in Chat.
It seems like people I talk to either LOVE chiropractors or HATE them and think they should be outlawed.
Chiropracters are not the only folks trained in manipulative medicine. Osteopathic physicians are also trained in manipulative medicine as well. They get a D.O. degree for Doctor of Osteopathy. They can become medical specialists and subspecialists. Some keep manipulative medicine it in their practices. Some do it exclusively, and some drop it altogether, e.g. they became full time surgeons.
