I told a friend TWO days ago CA was due for some big earthquakes soon! Things have been quiet for too long. Considering the Mt St. Helen's activity I think we are in for it.

The is no established relationship between vocanic activity in Washington State and earthquakes in central California. There may be a relationship with the micro-swarm in the Mono Lake area, but that is about it.
The distance is so far between Mt. St. Helens and Parkfield, that the two sites can not "feel' the stresses caused by the other.
