The President
COULD get over 90% of the vote in two states so that
COULD set up Kerry to come in behind Nader without violating the "double digit" rule.
And, while it's improbable, I'm going to daydream about it, especially since I don't seem to be able to do anything else today without setting off my allergies.

He will probably start: "Let me waffle a little..." and then go over time limit.

Maybe it won't help maybe it will, but I believe that every organization involved in putting together questions will be reviewing them very carefully so that they don't get Rather-ized the day after the debate.
I would like to agree with you, but I can't. Even with all the stuff at SeeBS I still keep hearing interviews with MSM types who minimize it, say it was an unfortunate minor error and then everyone piled on, that the documents "haven't been proven authentic" (as if they just might be), and so on. They truly DO NOT GET IT.

Given the present situation in Iraq, beheadings, car bombs, radical Imams, etc, it is nearly impossible today to make the case that you want to win the war on terrorism and bug out of Iraq. I have noticed that fewer and fewer people try to make the case that Iraq was not connected to global terrorism, it just is illogical and does not sell.
I do not see how he can spin it and win the undecideds, he has to be for the war in Iraq to win the war on terrorism and he base will not turn out if he is for the war. If he comes out as against the Iraq war , but wants to win the war on terrorism, he gets creamed for his statements and votes. I predict he will look like a complete fool on this issue and just make things worse for himself.

I wonder if he will spread some of that stuff on his knuckles before the debate. While the orange face is bad, the contrast between knuckle and face makes it look worse.
