Bill is a knucklehead who is normally quite wrong, although his ego never lets him admit as much.

Let's hope O'Reilly gets this one right, for a change.

Yeah right. Daschle will have the support of thousands of dead American Indians, just like Tim Johnson did. Remember Thune was even with, or leading Johnson up to the end but Johnson pulled it. He's got his work cut out for him, forget what the polls say.

O'Reilly's show is lame.

I cant stand watching him for an hour let alone listen to his 'know it all' voice for longer.

If South Dakotans reelect Daschle after his sorry performance, they will forever be likened in my mind to Californians, who just won't vote out the scoundrels no matter how bad things get.

All the bad guys get to vote twice in Baltimore.
Why not the same in S. Dakota?

Beware of dead indians...
and live one's too.

I was at a parade this weekend in Daschle's home town, Aberdeen. It was incredible. Neither Thune nor Daschle seemed to be there. But the Thune people were pumped.

The first thing we noticed watching the parade were that huge numbers of participants in the parade were wearing Thune stickers. Not a Daschle sticker to be seen.

Usually, in an election year, the political workers are working the crowds, handing out stickers right from the beginning.

Eventually a few Daschle people with long poles and Daschle signs affixed vertically on them came by. No enthusiasm. A woman tried to hand out Daschle stickers, but few were takers. It was embarrassing almost. She came by us but didn't even have the energy to press them on us. Last election the Johnson people were plastering them on everyone they saw whether they wanted them or not.

Immediately after the Daschle crew came a whole bunch of Thune redhots. The crowd cheered them. (That's a first for political workers) People swarmed them for stickers. Thune stickers were everywhere. It was absolutely amazing.

This was DAschle's home town, mind you. I have seen almost NO Daschle bumper stickers in town and very few of the large signs you usually see on major intersections. O'Reilly might very well be right.

How come we don't hear any sound bytes from D'Asshole's campaigning in his home state? It would be worlds apart from what he says when he gets back to Washington.

I must have missed that one. I went to FNC at about 15 after 7 last night expecting to see Bush, and there was a Dumb Dum and O Reaaly attacking Bush. Hit the back button fast. Fear Factor was on.... hehehehe

O'Reilly is a windbag and is not very knowledgeable in regards to politics. I would generally say that if he thinks something is going to happen I would go with the opposite scenario. That being said I hope Thune wins but it will be a tough road to election day. I wish Daschle would release his tax records so we could see how much his wife makes as a lobbyist and who her clients. I would find that very interesting and so would the voters.

Did O'Reilly remember to include all the Dead-Indian voters?

You are right. Indian ancestors were the deciding factor last time. Republicans cannot rest if they want to unseat the unscrupulous DemoRat. I have my fingers crossed and my credit card ready to help.

That sounds very encouraging! Calling all Freepers, we need to defeat Daschle-- please donate $10 or $25 if you can @ John Thune website

They do it with such good cheer, it never seems like assault. We're not lawsuit-happy here either. But there was no good cheer this year. Just demoralization. Still the other Freeper was right. Tim Giago and Daschle met in some closed-door meeting, supposedly about Indian concerns, but election-planning might better explain it. I wish the margins looked better for Thune to counteract illegal voting.
