Just for your information my fellow freeper that all the TV sets in 1960 were black and white so no one will know about the tan color of Kennedy face.
However Nixon refused to wear any make up and he had very visible sweat on his face and this did not look good at all.

Actually you could discern a tan on black & white TV in the early '60's. I speak with first hand knowledge because I watched that debate ... also, a few years later Dean Martin had a show on TV ... colored TV was around, but not prevalent, and Dean's tan, being somewhat of a trademark, was evident on black&white TV.
