There is one place in the US that is like that sort of and that is Hawaii. You do get the occasional hurricane out there too but probably not as often as Florida. From what I hear the temperature range seldom drops below 60 or much above 80 for most of the year.

I thought about Hawaii when I wrote that - have only been there once, and it was in the summer, but I remember the sand on the beach being so hot there was no way to walk barefoot (not to mention it was like an obstacle course with all the people stretched out on towels tanning themselves!) This was Waukiki Beach - we enjoyed Maui so much more! Quieter and prettier, much less crowded beaches!
