I volunteered to bring yard signs to my little berg as we are the neglected area of our county. Very little makes it out our way and I knew our folks who are for a large part retired military and active Navy would want signs.
They got 12,000 in from state GOP, reserved 2,000 for election day and gave out the rest. Reordered 5,000 more. Doing a brisk business in bumper stickers, shirts, hats, posters, and buttons, and even W ketchup.
Thank you again for these wonderful pics, EMB. Love to see them here every day that you can make it. :)
Gail, thanks for the additional info on your work at Bush HQ with the signs, bumper stickers, etc. Always enjoy hearing about it. Thank you!
Barlowmaker, thank you for your mail; it was really nice to hear from you again.
Gail do you know where I could get some of those Bush bumper stickers? I have one on my vehicle that the RNC sent me a while back and several acquaintances keep asking me to get them one.
Bumpsmooch.
Hi--I have noticed that everything post election has been sorta anti-climatic. I am still on a GWB HIGH and still have a little gloat left in me! It is hard not to when you read of how the left is imploding and coming unhinged! I LOVE IT! It's good to read the warm fuzzy threads, but I'm kinda missing the passion from pre-election!
Those beautiful planes give me goosebumps!!! When my husband was in the Air Force, I spent a lot of the day running out to see what airplane was going over the house. Now that he is out, we live in a non-military town and there is no action in the sky. After lots of years I still miss seeing them.
