"Moms With a Mission," on Fox & Friends, an anti-Bush group of moms with family in the military.

This is a group of mother's with familiy members serving in our military that are against President Bush, this segemnt had John Edward's wife on with them and they were making the claim that our troops still don't have the body armour they need and that families are still having to buy these needed supplies for their familiy members in harms way.

Also, one mom said she wanted a President who was able to get more help from other countries!

From this link:

Moms with a Mission kicked off their Home Front Tour today with a quick stop at Kerry-Edwards campaign headquarters. Five moms and wives of soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan are taking off on a seven state, 3,500 mile tour of battleground states to tell the truth about the real costs of George W. Bush’s failed foreign policy and his failed record for military families.

Who's paying for all this?

Follow the money...

Fox should be doing a segment on Peggy Baker, a housewife from Virginia and a mother of a son in the Army ho is about to be sent to Iraq. Instead of expending useless energy criticizing the President, she organized a group called "Operation First Response." She helps make travel arrangements for injured soldiers from Iraq to Walter Reed Hospital: she buys groceries and makes travel arrangements for their families who visit Walter Reed; and she is a tireless visitor to the injured at Walter Reed. She says it helps allay her anxiety about her son - and SHE IS HELPING THE TROOPS. We need more people like her.

In the Dole pic it seems to be a different bunch of moms with a mission. According to the Kerry blog, there are only five women in the group? And the names of the women in the two groups are different. Did Hill go into the backround of the group at all?

I caught the tail end of this interview. I was disappointed as well in E.D.'s allowing Elizabeth Edwards to run off at the mouth without challenging her on anything. When it was pointed out to Mrs. Edwards that Kerry and her husband had voted against the Bill, Edwards' reply was: "But the Bill passed," as though that's supposed to wipe out the fact that neither man voted to support the troops.

Edwards' comments about this were very flat, and she appeared to ramble on without any real substance to her statements. I find it extremely interesting that the two men who decided not to authorize the $87 billion are now complaining that the President has used only $1 billion of that money. It's a bit hypocritical in my estimation. I have no idea if the figure of $1 billion is even true, but even if it is, had Bush used more of that money, they'd be complaining that he'd spent too much.

Tooters, I can tell you that my husband served in the Marine Corps in Beirut in 1983 and his parents were dems - very anti-President Reagan at the time - my Marine said he would have been devastated had they publicly denounced his service or his President

"the one mom that was speaking was very anti Bush, it was plain to see that she is a Democrat shill."

That one mother who said she had two sons in the military, one Marine training troops out in California, and the other in basic training. Had the Marine son been deployed to Iraq previously? I missed the earlier part of that interview.

Never cared for E.D., don't like her at all...there are a constellation of stars at Fox News -- not just Edie. She needs to realize that. And if you don't think E.D. wears the pants in that household..you are hopelessly naive.

Was her ego that big before she married husband #3? (#4? kind of lost count) Seems that since she married rich Mr. Hill she's gotten to be a hellofalot more full of herself.

Thanks mom....for your support and gratitude....

The enemy has openly declared war on us...they slit the throats of young girls...then hijacked the commercial aircraft they served and flew them into office towers and the Pentagon killing thousands of US Citizens..Police,Firefighters and rescuers

Those victims could have been your daughters....your sons...your relatives...murdered by Islamic terrorists...and in the next major attack may very well be...

Some of your sons are now hunting them down and killing them...that more innocent Americans not have to be brutally murdered in our own country..other's sons are protecting the women and children in Iraq that were once brutalized by Saddam Hussein and his Secret Police and Storm Troopers

Saddam Hussein tortured raped murdered innocents young girls and boys...he fed human being into plastic shredders or burned them alive...Saddam and his sons kidnapped children at a whim
Raped them killed them if they complained...killed their families if the families complained...

Thousands of bodies of innocents are buried in the desert...

Saddam held his nation in slavery and brutality not seen since Hitler Stalin Mao and Pol Pot...

Your sons are protecting and saving the lives of innocent Iraqis ..making valient efforts to restore a decent government that the Iraqi people might not support terrorists.....

Saddam supplied terrorists with weapons, finances, shelter and training...

Your sons are not only restoring Iraq to an environment that will not tolerate terrorists and terrorism but making sure that terrorists will not be able to use Iraq as a staging area for further strikes against all of us here at home..

Your sons are grown men...and are heroes...

The last thing they need are ball busting mothers trying to undermine their heroic efforts...

When you undermine your sons they might begin to second guess themselves and their leaders...their will to fight may also be compromised...if so they will tend to be morose and get sloppy...and their sloppiness in a dangerous area where you must be at the top of your game at all times is an invitation to disaster...

Your son has a job to do...he is a grown man now...not a little boy to have mommie come to his rescue...he also has responsibilities to the sons of other moms...who need him to be sharp
and focused..

But America's enemies have always found ways to try to undermine morale...and when a soldiers own family takes the side of the enemy it hurts ten times as much...and is the most damaging type of attack...

John Kerry's whole reputation was built upon undermining morale that the enemy would prevail

These mom's like John F Kerry and Mikey Moore are some of the terrorists 'best friends'

No wonder America's enemies are so fond of them....

imo

Oh, I think that too and always have. Wonder if she is still charging her own kids income taxes like she was before she married Mr. Hill.

This link to an AFP story has the Moms With a Mission campaigning for Kerry. From the link near the end of the story:

Nita Martin, a registered Republican from the voter-rich state of Pennsylvania, will cross party lines and vote for Kerry in November. Her two sons were deployed to Iraq.

Wonder how long Ms. Martin's been registered as a Pubbie?

They presented this woman as if she had sons fighting in Iraq. In the end she says they are both here in the states. Not to demean their service at all, but I thought the mother's entire presentation was a set up and a farce. What exactly does she have to complain about?

EUREKA! Seek and ye shall find :) Guess who's paying?

From this link:

The tour is funded by the Democratic Party coordinating committee.

BTW, there's more on the link to check out. Plenty of fact-checking fodder there I suspect.

Note to E.D. Hill: Next time, Mrs. Hill, trying asking who's picking up the tab for services rendered.

I don't think so. My impression was she is hoping to prevent them from having to go. She is a self serving person.
