I think it's the other way around......they've annexed us. How else can anyone explain billions in benefits, Mexico dictating how we'll have to accept the matricula cards despite protests from our intelligence community, Mexican consulates opening up all over the country, Fox treating GWB like a red-headed step child, etc.
Annex? No thanks. Change our policies and launch a punitive expedition, maybe. Annex, no way.
