People would be shocked to know the border is already very militarized on the Mexican side --- their army is there --- crawling all over the border. There isn't an illegal who won't tell you that --- many aren't sure what they're doing --- but they will stop people --- sometimes they're looking for Central Americans but they apparently are looking for drugs --- not necessarily to stop the flow of drugs into the USA but to protect one cartel from competitors.
I did know that Mexico polices its southern border very well, you are right.
In any event, we will just have to agree to disagree. I don't think americans (right now) will go for that.

You are correct about that. Go thirty miles from the border for a weekend in baja and at sometime you will be stopped by military with maching guns. You will get out of your car and step way back while they search it. Dont have a spent cartridge in the bed of your pickup because you will go to jail.
I know I have lots of posts here in a short time, but I am just reading this post and I feel directly affected by what is going on. My son and nephews will be seriously affected by our actions. I feel illegal immigration is probaly one of the greatest threats to our way of life that we have faced.
