Jeb Fights Back (Take that, Jimmy)

JEB FIGHTS BACK Mon Sep 27 2004 20:33:05 ET

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's office yesterday said charges by former President Jimmy Carter that the state is "likely" to have a repetition of the voting problems that plagued the 2000 election are politically motivated by Democrats intent on undermining voter confidence in the state.

The WASHINGTON TIMES's Joe Curl will report on Tuesday: State officials also said the former president made no attempt to get up-to-date information before writing an opinion piece and never tried to contact the governor's office or that of Secretary of State Glenda Hood.

"This is a shockingly partisan opinion piece and it's unfortunate that a person such as the former president is being used by the Democratic Party for low-level political rhetoric," said Jacob DiPietre, press secretary for Gov. Jeb Bush.

Jimmy Carter has not learned from his mistakes. Does he understand why he was swept out of the WH after one term? People couldn't wait to get him out.

Didn't you hear, according to Carter he 'graduated' from the White House early!

He is also spoken of in the book on President Bush, A Matter of Character and those personal qualities are noted in that work.

He was and still is an egomanic.

State officials also said the former president made no attempt to get up-to-date information before writing an opinion piece and never tried to contact the governor's office or that of Secretary of State Glenda Hood.

"This is the same type of failure to get information before speaking, lack of logic and failure to consult experts that led to the Carter Administration's ludicrous failure to rescue the American hostages at the hands of Islamic terrorists called "students" in 1980," thought Governor Bush, but he chose not to speak his thoughts.

(that's the paragraph Drudge omitted) :~)

This from a 'man' who seems perfectly confident in 'elections' in his compadre Fidel's Cuba, and in North Korea.

Carter opened his mouth and it was big news on the MSM. The plot against President Bush continues.

Whenever I think of Jimmy, I remember the Iran hostages and those helicopters crashing in the desert.

Talk about a demoralizing time. For the young people who don't remember, it was an extremely depressing season in our history. The terrorists kept pulling Carter's chain, and he was totally helpless before them. Would we ever want to go back to those days?

It must be that malaise that still hangs over the demagogues from the 70's! Or maybe he's had one to many Billy Beers!

That's always been my opinion of Jimmy Carter, too.

Plus, I've always thought he is just a mean old man full of sour grapes.

HILLARY RIPS BUSH: WARNS OF 'IRREPARABLE HARM' TO NATION

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton blasts President Bush and his "radical" administration on Saturday for attempting to dismantle the "central pillars of progress in our country during the 20th century."

Clinton makes the comments to Saturday editions of the HOUSTON CHRONICLE, sources tell DRUDGE.

The former first lady says she has become convinced the Republican administration wants "to undo the New Deal," the Roosevelt-era policies that ushered in Social Security and a host of other governmental assistance programs.

She said that Bush, who campaigned as a "compassionate conservative" in 2000, had taken a "hard-right turn to pursue an extremist agenda" after moving into the White House.

"I don't know where it came from, but the fact is that this President Bush has not only been radical and extreme in terms of Democratic presidents but in terms of Republican presidents, including his own father," she says.

She believes Bush is beatable next year because his administration is "making America less free, fair, strong, smart than it deserves to be in a dangerous world."

"We have to change direction before irreparable harm is done," she adds.

"This administration is in danger of being the first in American history to leave our nation worse off than when they found it."

The saying "There's no fool, like an old fool" certainly applies here. Of course Carter was a fool when he was younger too.

The world socialist, Jimmah, surely learned something about foundations at Habitat for Humanity. He is here laying the foundation for a Democrat vote fraud coup d'etat post election. The only way to avoid this crap is for W to win big.

Thanks. I was also thinking of his profession of faith as a
Southern Baptist. I cannot understand why someone who says
he is "born again" would be party to this last Democratic
Convention and attack a supposed fellow
believer(George Bush). Maybe there really is something to
this "yellow dog democrat" thing.

"...give him something worthwhile to do."

Like building himself inside an air tight, sound proof box filled with peanuts. Then, after many days, some kind dim can plant the box.

("kind dim" - does such a creature exist?)
