John Edwards to campaign in New Jersey
September 27, 2004, 11:17 AM EDT
NEWARK, N.J. -- Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards will campaign in New Jersey for the first time on Tuesday, joined by one of the Sept. 11 widows who said earlier this month she was supporting John Kerry.
Edwards and Kristin Breitweiser will attend an afternoon rally at the Robert Treat Hotel here and then he will attend a fund-raiser at the Hilton Hotel in East Brunswick.

Next thing we know Edwards will come of the closet too...
That's like Bush campaigning here in TX or in Utah.
Always better to judge a campaign by what they do as opposed to what they say.
Precisely. This is a sign of how bad they think it is going in NJ. They shouldn't even have to be thinking about this state five weeks before the election.
Oh wow!! This is the best thing I have heard all day!
How long before they're forced to start making ad buys?
i cannot wait, my office shares the complex with Hilton in EB.
DESPERATION!
"the Democrats never thought they would have to campaign in New Jersey in September" PURE PANIC MODE........wonder if McGreevy will plant a kiss on lil old johny.........
Now what is he going to do if the point spread approaches 0 in NY, then PA goes positive...............
He is going to have to start cloning himself to be in a few places at the same time!
Hee hee. Make sure Johnny knows you are there.
Where the heck has Edwards been?
Double whammy! Having to campaign there and try to pull off a tear-jerker too. That's not going to make Johnny look strong.
Quite frankly, John John Edwards seems to be little more than a Democrat Dan Quayle.
John Kerry's ego wouldn't allow him to pick a VP with some "gravitas".
lil john edward's reminds me of toady in the legend of the willows..........when toad had to defend himself for buying the stolen car, and he "slipped on his grey gloves" and
pranced about the courtroom.....
