PBS' Jim Lehrer showed an awesome crowd picture of Pres. Bush's huge Ohio rally. I was thrilled to see it. They played lengthy excerpts of the President's speech. They played down the crowd total, though.
I don't have cable and can't stand the old alphas so I watch PBS if I catch the news. They show a lot more of both candidates' speeches than the other channels, but then, they do a full hour of news.
They seem to figure it's important to let the candidates have a few minutes to speak for themselves instead of being endlessly "analyzed" and spun.
Lehrer seems to be a pretty straight arrow.
