My wife posed an interesting question to me the other day about Teresa Heinz Kerry.

Heinz is obviously not Terayzuh's maiden name. Is it common for women who go by two last names (i.e., Hillary Rodham Clinton) to use a former married name as one of her two last names?

Isn't it somewhat of a slap in her current husband's face to keep her first husband's last name?

Not that I give a rip. I just found that interesting.

And besides, Terayzuh made #2 John sign a pre-nup. If she doesn't trust him with her money why should we trust him with ours?

Yep, sure is. Naomi Wolf said that she's publicly cuckholding her husband because she has kept Heinz in her name. lol There is an article here on FR about it.

That's a very good point, even if you sound a little too Ross Perot-ish in the way you make it.

Was she worried he was after her money? That he'd cut and run if things got tough? That he'd try for the marital equivalent of three purple hearts and make a bee-line for the door with a chunk of your late-husband's money?

A very good point, indeed.

Interesting, I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe her maiden name sounds "too foreign"???
