Rather being pulled off the Larry King Show is another indication of how dire his situation is. Larry King is not exactly known as a hard interviewer.

I think Rather pulled himself off the show so he wouldn't have to answer any of King's questions. It will prove to be very em-bear-ass-ing for him, sooner rather than later.

does Dan Rather also own a ranch in Texas ?
I bet he does.
Hey, Dan, isn't it time to go 'back to your ranch' ?
permanently.....

I suspect the problem was that Rather was likely to undo his retraction by saying that the documents, while forged, were still accurate.

Eventually Rather is going to "break" the story that the TANG memos were indeed fake.
He'll win another Peabody Award for excellence in journalism and retire very wealthy. The MSM always protect their own.

"He's just immensely popular when he goes out to visit the markets. I'd be surprised to find that the guy doesn't vote Republican," says Lee, who is general manager of the Eye affil in Roanoke, Va. Riiight, just like Michael Moron and Jane Fonda.

Here is the most sensational political crime since the Watergate break-in and no one is asking "who knew what when" of the DNC staffers whose fingerprints are all over this crime scene. If this had been the RNC and Fox News, I'll wager the NYTimes would have had front-page above-the-fold stories each and every day since it broke. Instead? Nada. Zilch. Zero. Zip. Nothing.
