He brought it on himself.
Dan Rather's a fellow Texan and I don't want to think ill of or hate the man (he's sort of like an old goofy grandpa), but I don't pity him for what's happened. He bet his career on the defense of obviously phony documents and the word of a politically-driven producer and in the end he lost.
I'm not going to dance on his grave, but I'm certainly not going to cry for him either.

Glad Drudge weathered the storm. My Sunday's seem incomplete without weekly dose of Drudge, as well as Brit abusing Juan Williams, and I was already deprived of the latter.
