The dems go into nursing homes and sign up elderly people who cannot remember their name. This is exactly what they did in 2000. It's illegal .. but they still do it and the people at the nursing homes DO NOTHING.
In FL many of those are legally incompetent and are part of the court system and have legal guardians. Legally they are not able to vote but there is NO cross check with registrations.
The problem in FL is that there are 67 seperate rolls and there is no cross checking. FL needs a statewide system.
I also believe you should have to re-register every four years. This would self purge the lists with those who do not register after moving or death.
Yes, but the Board of Elections helps them vote. They may have their children fill out the ballot, or they may just pick a name that appeals to them. They can't be relied upon to vote Dem.
I do have a problem with letting people who haven't the foggiest notion who is President, or know anything about the current issues vote, but that's our system. I don't know how to fix it without also affecting younger people who just aren't aware. Sean Hannity did a bit a week or so ago where he was asking young people if they knew the Dem VP candidate, Stu Ped, and most said they did. The old folks vote as sensibly as these kids do.
