Voter Fraud in Wisconsin
Power Line ^ | September 26, 2004 | John Hinderaker

Reader Thomas Chiappetti sent us a link to this piece by Mark Belling on the groundwork that the Democrats are laying to commit voter fraud on a massive scale in Wisconsin:

* * *

This may be the election in which voter fraud plays such a decisive role that it can no longer be ignored or tolerated. If President Bush doesn't win easily, Democratic fraud will either swing the election to Kerry, or, at a minimum, provide the basis for endless legal challenges to the election's outcome. It has been reported in the mainstream press that the Kerry campaign has already prepared lawsuits in 10 to 15 states, ready to file in the event Kerry loses. Indeed, lawsuits have already been started in some states.

exactly, if those on our side get wind of this I believe they will do all they can to prevent it. Some may slip through, but I have a hard time believing that massive fraud could succeed.

So I show up to my polling place, march up and just vote??? There's no list of people who should be voting at that precinct? In both STL and LEX, you had to walk into YOUR precinct (you could not vote anywhere else) and then sign the roster next to your name and show an ID and then you got to vote. What the hell is wrong with Wisconsin? (I just moved here a year ago and have not voted here yet.)

In Maryland, poll workers are instructed that they may not ask for ID. It might hurt someone's feelings. That's how so many are able to vote in more than one precinct. A person can move, even within a county, vote at their old and new address. Who's checking? We even have dead people voting.

"Didn't voter fraud make a big difference in Milwaukee in 2000?"

DemocRAT voter fraud very nearly cost us the presidency in 2000.

Blast from the past:

AP November 11, 2002: "......Wisconsin: The Bush campaign has not ruled out a demand for a recount in Wisconsin where Gore led Bush by 6,099 votes out of 2.5 million votes cast. There is no automatic recount in Wisconsin, but a candidate may request one within three business days after the last vote canvass. ...... The state Republican Party said it has received about 800 complaints of questionable polling procedures from around the state, including 600 from Milwaukee County. The GOP has asked the Milwaukee County district attorney to look into the allegations, which include voters getting two ballots or being told they had already voted. ......"

I've voted four times - three times they had me listed under the wrong address. All I did to register was take a piece of mail to the town hall. No I.D.required.

In the recent San Diego issue concerning mandatory ID, the liberals said this was a "republican trick" to disenfranchise the vote!

Has anyone ever investigated these claims? Florida democrats made similar claims in 2000 and most turned up nothing after investigation.

"In CF you are PROHIBITED from asking for ID."

Same is true in NM, sadly.

It is not even a "poll tax" type issue. In FL which requires ID, your ID can be by a sworn affidavit signed by a person with you who testifies to your ID. I have done that for elderly family who did not have ID with them.

Mexican/open border types have long opposed the USA requiring photo ID in California.

National elections require a national standard.

More bllast from the past:

New York Times November 14,2000 Pam Belluck "…..Milwaukee Describing Election Day problems ranging from accusations that some people voted more than once to claims that homeless people were bribed with cigarettes to vote for Democrats, Republicans said today that they were considering whether to seek a recount in Wisconsin…… In the meantime, Republicans have publicized complaints they say they have received about the voting process. The state party set up a toll- free telephone line, and Rick Graber, the chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party, said that about 1,000 complaints had been logged, most in the Democratic stronghold of Milwaukee County, but some in Green Bay, Madison and Fond du Lac. On Friday, Mr. Graber announced that he had asked the Milwaukee County district attorney, E. Michael McCann, to investigate…….. Mr. McCann, a Democrat, said today that he was taking the accusations seriously, but that so far he had found "no evidence of massive voter fraud." He said his staff had verified that one Democratic campaign worker acting on her own bought 40 packs of cigarettes, and that she and other people distributed them to 15 to 25 homeless men as an inducement to send in absentee ballots……….. Mr. McCann said he was also investigating complaints that students at Marquette University had voted multiple times. But so far, he said, "we do not have a single name from what was widely rumored multiple voting by students."……..Mr. McCann characterized the other complaints as irregularities that probably resulted from polling stations being staffed by inexperienced people overwhelmed by heavy turnout in a state where voters can register at the polls on Election Day. ….."

In Arizona, we are forbidden from asking for I.D. as well. We have had a federal task force monitoring the local elections to make sure that Hispanics are not "intimidated" from voting. At the same time, people who complain about Mexican nationals voting ARE intimidated by election officials afraid of the task force.

It is exactly back wards from the fraud that should be investigated.

I would speculate that the Attorney General is working on this.

You mean the same Attorney General who was too much of a "nice guy" to challenge his senate loss in Missouri after massive voter fraud?

The bloggers and the internet are the only hope to keep these criminals from stealing another election. (They've stolen many before).

Why has this matter not had more of a national outcry?

Mostly because the losing GOP candidates themselves (example: Ashcroft and Thune) are all to eager to give up their seats and not challenge the results out of political correctness.
