Journalists tend to be liberal Democrats from middle class families with some education, few spend time with blue collar workers, people in the military or people of religious faith.
Bloggers are true to the old journalism adage, 'If your mother says she loves you, check it out.'
On the internet, nobody knows youre anything.
So you have to prove that you are worth reading a believing by providing links to source material or to your credentials and by making sense.
CBS remained clueless. A former CBS vice president Jon Klein sneered at the critics, 'You couldn't have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing.'
As it turned out, the guys in the pajamas beat the pants off CBS News.

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble finding this article? I had a heck of a time. Finally clicked the editorials link in the left side bar, then scrolled down to the pajama people editorial, clicked and accessed it without putting in a registration code.
I also do not see FR mentioned at all in the online version.

"
WE ARE the checks and balances that they have never had before."Exactly!
The MSM has alway had things their way because there was no effective way to voice disagreement with their pontifications.
That is why JimRob's forum is so brilliant. We all can give a piece of our minds, even though some of us can't afford to lose them!

The survival of an idea or ideas on Free Republic is dependent upon rigorous, ferocious and frenetic examination and refutation
Teddy Roosevelt once wrote about the legendary toothed fishes of South America. "They will rend and devour alive any man or beast". "Piranhas," TR determined, "are the most ferocious fish in the world."

And .. much to the media's chagrin, I'm sure, was the fact that the first guy to discover the fraud of CBS's documents was A LAWYER on Free Republic.

And .. much to the media's chagrin, I'm sure, was the fact that the first guy to discover the fraud of CBS's documents was A LAWYER on Free Republic. The Lamestream Media falls all over themselves praising Michael Moore, who on his best day looks like hell. They also praised the hippies who took over the 'Rat Convention in 1972, the Anarchists who protested our convention this year, and every other group of leftwingnut freaks, geeks, and losers.
Yet they try and demean us pajama-wearers in flyover country who actually work for a living or stay home and raise a family. And they wonder why their candidates lose votes and they lose rating points? The Lamestream media in general and Rather in particular are getting exactly what the have long deserved.

Thank you for your support! But how do you keep your sanity in Massachusetts? I mean you're going to have to live with Kerry as senator for the next two years!

Thank you for saying I'm sane. A lot of factors unite to allow me to live amid the lunacy in Mass. Number One:
Finding Free Republic in '98 saved my mind.Free Republic gave me instant proof of my sanity. From that point, my general makeup kicked in to let me better tolerate this cuckoo's nest of a state.
Remember, no matter what, we MA GOP keep Kerry. Please be kind.
