Well, thank God I quit watching him two years ago!
John
"Considering that I got two copies of O'Reilly's book a few years back, I won't have to worry about kindling for the fireplace this year."
I understand. However, I think a greater message to send to Bill would be if you wrote your feelings about Bill in both of his books (use your imagination) and then mailed them back to him. By writing in his books he can't resell them. It may cost a bit of money on your end to do this, but it would be money well spent. IMHO
I don't own any of his books, so my only recourse is to stop watching the O'Reilly Factor.
Sorry Fox News, but I now can't trust Bill.
I agree about Dennis Miller...I think with good writers and time slot he would be as big as OReilly ever was...
I was apalled with his Moore "debate". What a lame defense of conservative principles and President Bush's policies. And what a weak attack on Moore's lies and distortions. I gave up watching or listening to O'Reilly months ago. I think he is destined for CBS/NBC/ABC where he will flop!
I'd love to see him dropped by Fox in favor of someone with real cojones.
Not surprised, but Google News Search doesn't bring this up and no link on article.
My take is that O'Reilly is Liberal on some issues and conservative on others and he wants to get a bigger audience by appearing to be in the middle on most everything.
While that means he's not a true conservative, it also means he's a heck of a lot better than Katie Couric and Dan Blather.
I often enjoy his show when he stops talking about himself.
I've said this about him all along. I don't know why anyone ever thought he was a conservative. They must not listen, or they forget what he has said in the past, therefore they are unable to put it together.
"I've known (Democratic presidential nominee John) Kerry for 25 years. He's a patriot. I'm listening to what he has to say," O'Reilly says."
Then you are no better than him, O'Reilly
No wonder you want the Swift Boat Vets to be forgotten.
Laura Ingraham would be perfect. Peggy Noonan is to laid back, and while Ann Coulter presents her side well, I don't think she'd actually be a good moderator.
Do you have a link to the article?
I vote for Ann Coulter as replacement. Or maybe Ann and Laura Ingram on the same show. Now THAT would be worth watching!!
That did for me too.
NO WAY John Kerry is a patriot.
I'd love to see Laura Ingraham in Fox too and always wondered why they didnt offer her a show....she is EXCELLENT and funny....During Bills Impeachment, when she had a show on MSNBC, and John Gibson had one too, MSNBC lead in the ratings...they suddenly changed the format for NO REASON, but that crazy actor on, the whiner, I forget his name now, and brought back that loser itsOVERMAN ( what we called him when he was getting fired back then...hey Keith its OVERMAN ahhahaaha ) .. and Matthews and it has sunk since then....
I dont know what she would name her show....I'll have to think about that one!!
I've always thought O'Reilly was too full of himself.
Exactly---I think O Reilly would fit in just fine at CBS or any of the big networks---he should vacate his post at Fox and let a REAL independent in.
Only when his ratings drop. Oreily has no competition. ZIP.
CNN can't grasp the concept of a conservative host enough to allow it.
MSNBC is just too stupid to realize what they have is not conservative enough.
Either way no MSM outlet can understand that to be conservative IS to be unbiased.
Kerry may be a patriot of sorts, delusions of grandeur and other mental diversions can cause a distortion of truth within...being a patriot is not qualifications to be Commander in Chief.
I caught him on the radio, once, by accident. "So this is the famous Bill O'Reilly," I said to myself, and listened for a while. He struck me as a narcissistic gasbag and a person of low cunning rather than of principle. I never listened again.
