I agree but at least he's not afraid to show or tell his leanings to the left so he may not work well in the MSM(LOL). I also agree that he doesn't hold a candle to Rush - Rush is genuinely trying to do the greater good and "look out for us"

everyone hear needs to stop watching him... i can't stand him... the funny thing is, neither can my father--a die-hard democrat... let his ratings slip big time... he absolutely does not appreciate his core audience... let's do to him what we did to Whoopi...

Finally got the link if any freeper wishes to read the blurb from the local paper. Look under the title: "You never know which way the spin goes"

I soured on most of Fox long ago.I tape Brit Hume's news program...

I have been seeing more and more comments along these lines as regards Fox's cable news operations on FR lately.

I don't have cable or satellite, so I don't watch Fox News. If what I am reading is representative, it appears that this is becoming a disappointment among conservatives. Is this true?

If so, I'm not missing much.

I tried watching him a few times but just couldn't stomach him and my husband refused to listen to him after the first time.

"Heir apparent for Dan Blather"

I knew it. O'Really's false concern over Dan Rather last week was so transparent. He kept bringing up retirement for Rather while he was licking his CBS chops. Gawd what a vulture of the rather kind. Ack, never trust a vain man with bad hair coloring and comb over. Signs of compulsive over compensating.

He did not denounce all of the Swift Boats and defended them to some guests that not all of their allegations were disproven.

He did report that the Swift Boat Vets had been De-Bunked by Chris Wallace and himself, had Wallace on his show to say so.

I agree with you SmartA. I used to love O'Reilly. I would even tape his show when I was gone. Now I don't hardly watch him.

Welcome to Free Republic!

And I've never thought O'Reilly was anything else. He's always seemed like he's leaned left for quite a while. How did you hear about this beloved forum?

I get a kick out of watching him. He can occasionally be brutal on some left-wing pin head.

He has always been a pro-homo freak. I couldn't stand him the first time I watched him.

Thank-you for the welcome. Heard about it from another blog (when I was in my pajamas). LOL!

He's said for years his favorite politico of all time was Robert Kennedy. There's nothing new here, and freepers should just decide whether they like his show or not, instead of worrying how leftward his politics really do tilt.

For full disclosure, I have never cared much for his show....I watch Fox for Brit Hume.

"He can occasionally be brutal on some left-wing pin head."

I remember this one time when he had this lefty whining about how Arabs are mistreated. Bill kept trying to ask him questions but the guy tried to filibuster on Arab brutality and whined. Bill finally told 'em to cut his mike. That was humorous.

But Blood of Tyrants is right, he is way too left on the homosexual thing. Our children deserve better than that. Of course, there isn't much that does please Blood of Tyrants. Well, other than Blood of Tyrants. :) Hehe! Just kidding!
