"His base is made up of people who are struggling, trying to make it, and here is John Kerry water kayaking, or windsurfing or whatever the heck it is he was doing up there in Nantucket," said the Rev. Reginald Jackson, executive director of the Black Ministers Association of New Jersey. In Newark, he said, he had heard people asking, "What's the brother doing?"

Spending his wife's money...

Moral of the story?

If you infect with enough Fairy Pink, blue turns red.

It's always been my view that Kerry carries no legitimacy among Black voters.

The fake southern civil rights drama of Gore and the massive good-will of Clinton translated to a huge black turnout in 2000, costing Bush PN, MI and WI.

I simply don't see how democrats can count a similar turnout this time.

Could be a response to their fag governor and corrupt democratic legislature.

I grew up in Jersey and still visit freinds/family there all the time. There is virtually NO Bush or Kerry ads running in the state, w/ the exception of the occasional Bush ad on during the Fox News shows like O'Reilly, H & C,etc. The fact that, sans advertising, W is running neck and neck w/ Klown is a very, very ominious sign for the Klown. This state is a corrupt cesspool of Democrat sleaze and spineless RINO bloviators, and Klown will prob. win this dump, but he has to be VERY worried about this development. W is going to utterly slaughter the Klown, just like the Yankees slaughtered another set of Bostonian klowns last night: Pedro Milar. Or was it Manny Ortez? Let's ask Red Sox fan Kerry- or is he tied up at Lambert Field?

Republicans don't win dead heats in New Jersey. It's a nice thought but don't stop working Florida and Wisconsin and Ohio and Iowa and New Mexico.

It is very expensive to campaign in NJ.

The President would have to retain a good chance of taking it to allocate scarce resources.

Butta-boom...

With its strong unions, vibrant immigrant communities, tolerant views on social issues and concern for the environment, New Jersey has become exceedingly friendly terrain for Democrats during the past two decades.

IOW, it's a virtual Third World cuckoo's nest of radicals.

Lib journalists love to use the adjective "vibrant" to modify "immigrant communities," don't they? The community in question could have a crime rate through the roof with Al Qaeda strongholds on every corner and they'd still describe it as "vibrant." Basically, any community that isn't predominantly white is automatically a "vibrant" one.

Lol, yeah I noticed the use of the "vibrant" adjective too and laughed to myself...

ALWAYS in the context of a "community" -- I guess "vibrant" is interchangable with the words "chaotic," "illegal," or "potentially dangerous."

Notice how Free Republic is NEVER referred to as a "vibrant conservative website"?

Btw, Vasquez has just given up the tying HR in the 4th to slugger...DOUG MARIBELLI. Drilled into the center-field bleachers. That's the second bomb they've hit off of him. Score: 3-3.

I DON'T think Vasquez will be in the rotation during the playoffs.

Jersey's not the girl that's taken you to the dance. Jersey is winnable but expensive to win because of the New York City Media Market. I could see NJ bringing Bush to 375 electorial votes. A more effective campaign would be to try to win a Jersey Senate seat. Guiliani would be a great candidate.

The McGreedy factor is not helping Kerry in Jersey either.

McGreedy won let the people pick who should be the next governor, we are going to see people voting in protest to that decision.

I hope he's not. In Vazquez's own words, he doesn't know what he's doing. Score's 5-3 now.

Whoa -- did he really say that?

He's been knocked out. See him cough up that 0-2 BP fluffball to Nixon?? Sheesh, he is pathetic!

Unlike the Constitution, language is a constantly evolving constuct. Libs are unwittingly changing the preception and definition of words. In a generation, 'vibrant' could come to connotate 'squalid inner-city ghetto'.
