I'm always puzzled why the leftists have succeeded in grabbing the most picturesque parts of our country with the balmiest weather. Why did their take-over succeed in these parts of the U.S.?

I agree with all of you. I also become really frustrated with people from our own side being so quick to just write off the west coast. It is NOT just inhabited by leftists. They simply have an iron grip on much of the politics which is protected by an even more firm grip on the federal judges and the judges in all 3 states.

Still, it is not a lost cause and the good conservatives on the west coast should be backed up and encouraged at every opportunity by right thinkers everywhere in the US. The "west coast is a lost cause" attitude does not become us. We are not quitters and the west coast is worth fighting for.
