I have to add your justification of their inaction, or limited action has upset me to a certain degree. That is also part of the problem. They need to be encouraged they are better then this. They need to be supported when they stand up and show outrage against the high jacking of their religion.

I think when this is over and the US government can reveal the extent to which they were helped by American Muslims in uncovering terrorist cells, people will be very surprised. An imam who goes public with condemnation of terrorism is not likely to be regarded by the enemy as a safe person to confide in.

Literally thousands of suspected terrorists have been apprehended, questioned and deported since 9-11. How do you suppose the government found these people. Luck? Obviously, they are being helped by people on the inside, and we ought to be encouraging that help in every way we can instead of spewing hatred toward them.

Again, please name one domestic terrorist event in this country that was perpetrated by a domestic American Arab Muslim. It hasn't happened because people like their freedom and their right to worship as they please, and for the most part that is what they want for their own homelands as well.
