Oh - good to hear alancarp that Cape Canaveral should miss the worst. Hope so - hope this storm moves a lot faster than the others that came through already - although moving fast equals more power - over shorter time / moving slow - less power? more rain? - over longer time period. Right?

So there are negatives in both scenarios. I just know the faster those winds go by, the better I would like it.

Oh my! Geraldo is NOT out in the hurricane winds/rain! Wonder why?

One thing from the spinning picture behind Geraldo - the dark red parts (I realize that is from the coloration of the radar) of the eye wall seem to have definitely lessened - is that accurate or just some function of the radar? Dark red completely encircled the eye when the cane was out over the water and over the Bahamas - but now there was only one small section of dark red in the lower right quadrant. Does this mean intensification has lessened?

Figure 1/3 of the storm is over land now, it makes sense it's slight less powerful.

Bet surfing on the lake is nice right now 8<)

It looks the storm surge into the harbor is reduced somewhat since the waves can't flow directly into Pt St Lucie from the Northeast.

That helps a little bit.
